So here I am, a multi-faceted man-beast with pencils and cameras and blogs and business books sticking out of every pocket.

I work hard. I am the creative director and sole partner of brand experience firm. It’s tough, incredibly fun, and rewarding.

As serious as it all is I love to play. A big goof. Ever the clown. And more that that, I LOVE to create. An artist. A photographer. A writer. A singer. Fa-la-la! I express myself.

I had a good ol’ Prairie upbringing and it’s chivalry and humility that impress me the most. Yes, an Alberta boy. One who grew up with liberal ideas and cosmopolitan fancies that took me to Vancouver in pursuit of communications dreams and white-collar ambitions.

I love the city. I live and work downtown. It pleases me that I have access to any service within a 10 minute walk in any direction. I love to get lost under skyscrapers in a downpouring rainstorm with my face drawn behind an upturned collar and umbrella. I love to get out of Vancouver.

Saigon. Hong Kong. London. Munich. Salzburg. Seattle. Las Vegas. Victoria. Calgary. Edmonton. These are cities I know my way around.

Rock music, hip hop, classical, opera, jazz and electronic. And words too! The abundant imagination of Stephen King, the translucent prose and poetry of Michael Ondaatje, the character development of Carol Shields, and the ridiculous love triangles of Archie Comics.

So here we go. I’ll be Archie. She’ll be Betty or Veronica. Jughead is my wingman. Moose symbolizes the big bad world and Reggie represents all those wankers who ever said I couldn’t do it.

Put up your dukes man. It’s all mine.
